Has Woy finally lost the plot?
In the press this morning that even though they've been out injured all season, Hodgson will still pick Wilshere and Shaw for the Euro's if fit.

He also said that he would consider picking Rashford who has played 86 mins for first team football.

What an insult this is to every other player trying to get into the squad.

The old man has officially lost it!

I don't think that matters much really. A new signing can transform a struggling club, much like a big injury can cause a negative effect.

Talent is what matters and some countries have a wealth of talent most clubs couldn't afford.

Club sides are used to playing together.

International ones less so, especially since Brazil stopped having two month long training camps before major tournaments.

Would love it if he snapped Rooney in two in the England game before crippling Kane.

What a weird attitude.

But face man you can't underestimate the advantage of playing in a team consistently over a season

In fact I'd say that every club in the PL would get battered by Germany, Argentina and Spain.

Leicester are close to being title winners, which says it all for me.

I don't really buy that the PL is a higher standard than International football.

Countries have a whole nation to pick from, of all the in form, fit players. PL teams can't buy that kind of depth of choice.

Lots of shit countries about of course, but I don't think many clubs could afford the amount of money that most International squads would cost in transfers, and still have the back up of quality players when injuries occur.

I'd rather our players played as little international football as possible.

Dont forget he has also guaranteed a starting place to Rooney, well according to the Sun

Worst England Manager ever IMO, should have gone after the humiliation in Brazil.

Even McClaren did a better job and thats saying something!,

You missed out Cresswell who deserves the call up more than anyone in our squad. Been better than Baines this year.

Wilshire would still go if he plays the last 3 games, performs atrociously and scores 2 own goals in each of them.

Re: Has Woy finally lost the plot?
Where did talk about being fresh? I talked about FORM. If Wilshere plays in all of the last 7 games of the season and plays really well then yes, is have him on the plane. Haven't mentioned anything to do with freshness.
